Pitch 5 of East Buttress of El Capitan with Middle Cathedral

Middle Cathedral provides a backdrop for the arrete on pitch 3 of the East Buttress, which is at once one of the easiest and one of the most spectacular pitches on the climb. This is roughly where the picture for the cover of the SuperTopo Yosemite Free Climbs book was taken.
