Matthes Crest

Matthes Crest is one of the more stunning Sierra ridge traverses and one of the most accessible as it can easily be completed in a day. Though I never have done it as an overnight trip, I must say that the camping options near Matthes Crest are excellent and it could make for an enjoyable stay.
