Mount Starr King (5.0)

Mount Starr King is sort of Half Dome's poorer cousin: less impressive, less accessible, but much much less crowded (see the full page on climbing Starr King). This really is a wonderful respite from the throngs encountered when hiking Half Dome. This album shows a somewhat roundabout route, starting from a bit past where you leave the Panorama Trail, going up onto the north shoulder of Starr King, contouring around the east flank, climbing the Southeast Shoulder Route, and then down the South Face and out the normal way (south) to the trail.
