Sierra Gooseberry (Ribes roezlii) was formerly in the Saxifrage family, now these plants are in their very own Gooseberry family (Grossulariaceae), which includes currants too. A mid-elevation plant (<2800m) that usually seems to be a nuisance, but in the spring, it's got some nice flowers. And of course you can eat the berries, but you'll need gloves to pick them.
