This picture gives a better sense of the angle, though that huge cornice in the background is still bigger than it looks and is cracked about 20 feet back from the edge, so we didn't dare to get too close to look over. We ended up deciding to drop in at the far end of it where the lip pinches down to nothing, just on the near side of that rock rib. I measured it with an inclinometer at about 47 degrees over the first hundred feet, which qualifies as steep in my book.
