UPDATE: Sorry, I've had to kill the links on this page. I can't find the Moonstone Lucid anywhere at any price anymore. It was a great deal while it lasted. Sorry! For the time being (Feb 2007), I have found a couple of deals on similar North Face bags, the Beeline (down) and the Fission (synthetic) that are editor's choices in this year's Backpacker Magazine Gear Issue.

I've kept the mini-review up for reference in case you can actually find one of these, but I've taken down the links since BCOutlet.com was out of them long ago apparently.

The Moonstone Lucid 800 Down Fill 20 Degree Sleeping Bag looks like it has the right numbers for summer: 20 degrees, 800 fill and 2 lbs 1 oz. I'll try to find something this good for the cruelty free option, but I don't think a synthetic bag will ever get down to that 2lb number.

I have one for sale in the large size. Used one night in 18 degree weather with a liner, so no sweat or dirt. Stored fully lofted. Make my own gear now and no longer need.
