There's some debate about what does and does constitute a species of Rosy Finch, but following Laws Field Guide, p. 270 and WhatBird.com, this would be a Gray-Crowned Rosy Finch. I cheated by taking these pictures on Mount Whitney, outside the park, but close enough.

In Sierra Nevada Birds, David Lukas says "Rosy-finches are one of the Sierra Nevada's most sought-after birds. They are not rarebut it takes a lot of work and a bit of luck to access their lofty kingdoms."
