Female Cassin's Finch (Carpodacus cassinii) in Lyell Canyon. The females in particular look a lot like the House or Purple finches, but the altitude and the fact that she is getting cozy with a male Cassin's Finch, suggests that possibly she is a Cassin's finch too!
