Goldfields (Lasthenia californica)
Goldfields look a lot like Spring Gold (Crocidium multicaule), but Spring Gold has alternate leaves and most leaves in a basal rosette. Goldfields have paired leaves that go more up the stem (Audubon Field Guide to Wildflowers, Western Region, p. 382)
