Spring is unquestionably here. Waterfalls booming, the Merced pushing against its banks, dogwoods blooming, birds building nests, and yellow pollen covering everything. For those of use with pollen allergies, it means beauty and misery. Meanwhile, we're starting to see our first traffic jams of the season. With flow still interrupted by Housekeeping Camp and Highway 140 still closed, it looks like traffic could be epic this weekend. That said, the current plan is still to get the full Loop Road, Highway 140 by Briceburg, and the Glacier Point Road open for Memorial Day weekend. We'll see if it happens!
