Horsetail Falls Natural Firefall

The old Glacier Point Firefall is long gone, but every February and, as this picture shows, even in March, when conditions are right, Horestail Falls on El Capitan provide a nice natural firefall.<

Waterfalls Everywhere (April 28 - May 12 2006)

Spring is here to the thunderous applause of the waterfalls. High flow and loud noise make sfor some excellent viewing and it doesn't seem to have peaked quite yet.

Frosty Meadow (Dec 1-7, 2005)

There's been some beautiful frost on the meadows lately.  Cold nights (and days!) with humid but clear weather has made for some gorgeous hoar frost.
