Growing in marshy areas along Glacier Point Road, the Marsh Marigold (Caltha leptosepala DC var. biflora) can be anywhere from yellow to white. Please note: marshes are fragile. Don't go walking about in a marsh to see the flowers. If you can't find a hard surface to walk out (like a downed tree), just enjoy the flowers from a distance.

Human footprints in a bog or marsh can last for many years and frequent walking will literally destroy the marsh ecosystem.
