Bigelow's Sneezeweed (Helenium bigelovii) is similar to the non-native Black-Eyed Susan, but has a much cooler name, the brown/black disk flowers stick out further from the petals and it grows taller. Found in wet and drying meadows and sometimes growing in great profusion. Leaves are mostly basal, but growing partway up the stem.
