White-veined Wintergreen or White-veined Shinleaf (Pyrola picta) grows in the deep shade of mixed conifer forests (namely, our back yard). It's the only member of the Heath family in Yosemite with the noticeable white veins on the leaves as far as I know (Botti, p. 150).
